Costs

The registration fee for the 18^th Castle Meeting is an all-inclusive fee that covers almost all costs for the conference: accommodation for 6 nights including breakfast, bike rent or public transport, all lunches, coffee/tea and excursions, 5 dinners, and a number of drinks.

These all-in costs are:

• private room: € 1295.-
• shared room: € 995.-

The additional costs for attending the preceding workshop on Micromagnetic Tomography include breakfast, lunches, and dinner on Friday (dinner on Saturday is not included):

• private room: € 329.-
• shared room: € 249.-

Registration

The registration for the 18^th Castle Meeting opens in February 2024 and will be handled through this website. Please use the preregistration form to secure your spot. If necessary, we can also assist participants needing a letter of invitation to obtain visa to enter the Netherlands/Schengen zone after their registration is complete and paid.

The number of participants is limited to 100 to ensure the open atmosphere of the traditional Castle Meetings. (Pre-)registrations are handled in the order in which they are received. If, however, the number of registrations is overwhelming shortly after opening the registration, the LOC will give priority to young researchers and an attempt will be made to balance the number of participants among different research groups.

The Dom tower is the highest church tower in the Netherlands at 112 m and can be climbed for a magnificent view over Utrecht. It survived the only known tornado in the Netherlands that destroyed part of the Dom church in 1674 AD.
